Monitoring the ethics of medical research

We have made a DVD to give an insight into the work of the National Research Ethics Service. NRES promotes ethical research and protects the interests of participants taking part in research. Any research proposal within the NHS has to seek approval from a Research Ethics Committee. These committees form a network around the country and consist of volunteer specialist and lay members.
